Just a reminder, this was the life of a Native, it’s -30 today. A miserable existence of raping and pillaging other native tribes wandering the plains in small nomadic clans while chasing food on foot, Europeans were the cheat code and also forcibly stopped Natives from their slavery trade. Now we can’t build a pipeline without their blessing, can’t extract oil without their blessing, and can’t even assemble without a gay land acknowledgement. We owe them nothing, they can either stay 12,000 years behind or they can be grateful for the warp whistle they have been bestowed. Anything was better than the life they led before. @PowderheadsJ My best was putting a VM on my Linux system and installing Windows 10. I allowed him to take control and kept adding data through the console so that he couldn't see. He blacked out my screen, so I turned on his camera. I took screenshots and put it as my background. He lost it

There's nothing that brings me joy like wasting the time of phone scammers so they can't take advantage of some poor senior while they're on the phone to me. It's so satisfying to hear them start swearing at me. It never gets old.

@PowderheadsJ Oh no! That sounds awful, I hope you're recovery is going smoothly, no complications. There's lots of season left. The snow wasn't great, if that's any consolation, and the lower half was terrible. Gravel all over the cat track down and that was really the only option
