@kareem_carr If you define writing code as stricting writing something which is compiled then that’s true for me. But I am now doing all the business stuff while being able to handling all the technical stuff. I would’ve hired at least 3 ppl for what I can do with AI.

I keep hearing that software engineers don’t write much code anymore and it’s mostly AI now. Can any software engineers confirm how true this is? Do you just drink coffee and watch Claude code all day now?

@adonis_singh @jxnlco It literally is. I got so used to it that I forgot Claude doesn’t work that way and felt friction with my Claude workflows.

@thsottiaux Not surprised. Claude has been atrocious past few days. And it’s been sufficient that Codex is almost the new habit.

@omar_dddg I don’t know Sharaa. But I can assure you the playbook can be stranger than fiction. In one instance our intel ppl were being paid to gather intel on certain groups while simultaneously they were funding those groups to attack our country, among other things. 😂

Uncle geopolitical Analysts from Temu will tell you Ahmad Al Sharaa worked for the CIA while having a bounty on his head so that anyone could kill him for money and he was ok with that.

@rohanvarma @ANTCO_ Spot on. Way it debugged an issue within the library was human level but faster as the loop for the AI is quicker. Great model.

@ANTCO_ As an example, it’s significantly ahead of any other model on TerminalBench, meaning it can use terminal tools like a superhuman. As a result, it is very good at leveraging tool calling, navigating dev situstions, and validating work to iterate on longer

The Codex plans: > SOTA model intelligence > most generous included usage across all plans > cheaper than other frontier models > most token efficient frontier model > Tibo resets limits 4 times a month It would be fiscally irresponsible to not use us :)

@dkundel @ajambrosino It’s 1000 IQ play. More ppl need to experience 5.4 and Codex. I have been on Max for a while but Codex have done well. Compaction experience is far superior, and if you can make ppl surface that then even better.

I built a new plugin! You can now trigger Codex from Claude Code! Use the Codex plugin for Claude Code to delegate tasks to Codex or have Codex review your changes using your ChatGPT subscription. Start by installing the plugin: github.com/openai/codex-p…

I've been using Claude for the last few days. It seems to me that Codex is a bit more competent, but Claude is a bit more diligent. I wonder if that even makes any sense.
