@ThatGuyYouKnowF Megas XLR? I wouldn't call that a distinctly American show, particularly in relation to Japan. I think the Japanese, of all people, understand the concept of a giant robot fighting giant monsters. It's kind of their thing.

@DiscussingFilm It's just such a slow episode where very little happens. The whole sequence of Mark and Damien falling down the hole sucked. It felt like padding out the runtime of the episode, and limiting the amount of animation that needed to be done.

Why is everything bad a “demon” or “satanic” all of a sudden? Everywhere I look, someone is describing something in those terms (“evil,” etc) and I don’t understand where it’s coming from or why everyone decided to start speaking like that.

There’s a point to be made that the individual politics of the wrestlers are irrelevant because even the liberal WWE wrestlers are complicit in this. Like if this is why you don’t like Roman, you really shouldn’t like any WWE superstar.
