The second-term senator is at serious risk of losing renomination this Saturday, five years after he voted to convict President Donald Trump during an impeachment trial following the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. In a stunning outcome for an incumbent, Cassidy could very well come in third to his challengers, Rep. Julia Letlow (R-LA) and former Rep. John Fleming (R-LA). The way everyone talks about Toni Collette in Hereditary or Mia Goth in whatever that awful trilogy was has led to a lot of skepticism around a horror performance being really that good every year but Inde Navarrette is really that good in Obsession. Very fun performance

speaking of THE ODYSSEY, the "adventure" section –– IE, the cyclops, the sirens, etc –– literally takes up 20% of the entire poem. the rest of it follows Telemachus and Odysseus fucking around. it would be pretty funny if Nolan made an "accurate" adaptation with that exact ratio

@duel3000 If it was going to actually lead to Darby tamping down unnecessarily dangerous moves, I think it might work but I don’t think he’d ever do that. Plus, I think it builds up the idea of a match and I don’t think any of us want Mick to ever wrestle again, for his own sake

Multiple sources say that AEW has expressed "real" interest in working with Mick Foley this year, though the capacity of which is not known. It was also not certain whether or not the organization would be interested in signing the 60-year-old, or if it would simply be an appearance. One source indicated that while they did not have any direct knowledge of Foley coming in for Double or Nothing, they would not be surprised if there was a push to use him on it if a deal could get done. I'm glad he said this because it's MY biggest takeaway from the film. Obsession is ultimately a tragedy where a woman is stripped of her autonomy for the sake of fulfilling a "nice guy's" fantasy.

@PrenticePieces @metaplexmovies I get that, I just didn’t find it very involving and feel like you don’t feel much without having seen any of that backstory for Odysseus. It’s probably the best you can do for a few million dollars, it just makes me wish I was watching a full Fiennes Odyssey instead

Sarah lied because she liked Bear 3. She rejects him, but ultimately he ends up with Sarah and they still have a healthy friendship.
