People forget there were literal petitions created by Batman fans to get Heath Ledger fired and letters were being sent to WB to remove Nolan from the project because people were so angry he casted Heath. Then it went on to become one of the most successful movies of all time with Heath giving a performance that has yet to be topped. Bro does not give a fuck about angry Twitter users. He knows his work will speak for itself and make all of these people look like idiots.

Always do SCRIPT CLEARANCE before you shoot, if you don't want to tackle snafu's in Post I just changed NASA to NAFA, Rudolph to the reindeer with the red nose, Mickey Mouse's dog to simply Pluto, Star Wars to Planet Wars and a host of other things flagged in Clearance! Certain Christmas songs are available, Instagram is not, even selfie is trademarked. Producer/Writer TIPof the Week 🤣 #filmmaking

I just see almost no upside and tons of downside for Kamala Harris running in 2028. She likely loses in the primary, which would be embarrassing and cement her legacy as an electoral loser. Or even worse she somehow wins the nomination and loses to Rubio or something. She instantly has the worst legacy of all time and everyone hates her ass forever. Only the narrow scenario where she somehow wins the nomination AND wins the Presidency would any of this be worth it for her. And realistically what are the odds she pulls off both a primary and a general election win? 10%? 20% at best?? So in 80-90% of scenarios she just humiliates herself. Personally, I’d just stay retired and enjoy a fairly good legacy as the first female VP and someone who mostly made the best of a bad situation after Biden dropped out. But she’s like an addict. She was so close to the Presidency and now she’s chasing that high again. Consequences be damned.

Christopher Nolan took 6.5 million euros in Greek taxpayer money to film The Odyssey in Greece for 15 days. They gave him the subsidy without telling the Greek people what the movie was actually going to be. No Greek actors. Heavy distortion of one of our most important stories. Now the world tour is skipping Greece completely. He knows exactly what he did. He disrespected our history, took our money, and now he won’t even show his face here. This is what happens when Hollywood gets comfortable pissing on other people’s culture.

People don’t understand that the average Nolan film’s opening weekend draw is $60-70 million. The Odyssey is on track for a $100 million opening weekend, possibly more. This could be his third biggest film when all is said and done, behind only his Batman sequels.
