@mattRlive @BillboardChris @PierrePoilievre @AndrewScheer What do you think this is... an academic journal? He's not responsible for providing a source, you're responsible for your own research, which you clearly didn't do. This is X, man.

@RealTimdan @BillboardChris @PierrePoilievre @AndrewScheer The dude didn't show any sources you shouldn't believe everything you read online

Mark Carney is seizing a costly Liberal majority that voters denied him, and doing so through backroom deals.
In January, MP Gladu said that floor crossers should face voters in a byelection to give voters the final say. I could not agree more.
She should do so. The people in her community voted for our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong at home, not for the costly Liberal government she has now joined.
She should honour her word and let voters decide.
English

@ThatHmmmmm @BillboardChris @PierrePoilievre @AndrewScheer This is my point. Answer the question. Own it. Say your mind changed after what we just witnessed.
English

@RealTimdan @BillboardChris @PierrePoilievre @AndrewScheer It was 13 yrs ago. Ppl opinions change over time and lived experience. Never in history of our country has this many crossed the floor. Something needs to change. Accept that ppl and their opinions change over time and lived experiences. Focus on today not 13 yrs ago.
English

@BillboardChris @PierrePoilievre @AndrewScheer @PierrePoilievre you should answer this question. Don't run from it.
English

So why did you vote against floor crossing triggering a by-election?
On February 8, 2012, you voted against Bill C-306 which aimed to force any MP who switches parties to resign their seat and trigger a by-election so voters could ratify (or reject) the change.
At the time, the Conservatives argued that floor-crossing is a legitimate part of parliamentary democracy.
Your party correctly argued that MPs are elected to represent their constituents, not strictly a party label, and forcing a by-election would undermine an MP's independence.
What in this argument has changed?

@EndWokeness Y'all trippin'. The show is allowed artistic freedom. Let the guy play Snape and if he sucks, talk your shit. You're judging black Snape before he even gets an opportunity to win you over.

The UK has finally scrapped its “non-crime hate incident” system after admitting it undermined free expression and diverted police from real crime. The policy had expanded to include lawful speech, with police recording non-criminal “incidents” indefinitely on citizens’ files, even appearing in background checks when people applied for a job. Officials now say the system was “not fit for purpose,” as it led to police monitoring speech rather than protecting public safety.
Canada should take note.
The UK’s experience shows how quickly speech regulation can expand beyond its original intent, chilling free expression and misusing public resources.

@JoshDehaas And then they ask for (and receive) giant budget increases, which includes new hires, to enforce these feelings. I'm still extremely pro-law enforcement but this chaps my ass.
Sorry, rant over.

Ontario municipalities including Durham, Waterloo and Ottawa — with federal funding — have recently created Community-Based Hate Reporting programs for “non-crime hate incidents.” These snitch lines are modelled off the U.K. programs being abolished now. nationalpost.com/opinion/josh-d…

Shabana Mahmood has abolished non-crime hate incidents after criticism that they were diverting officers into “policing tweets rather than the streets”. 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/2…

@JoshDehaas @NiagRegPolice actually encourages citizens to report non-criminal activity (i.e. "hate incidences") so police can respond to provide "education". They are aware they're trying to police non-criminal behaviour but do it anyway @BillFordy. True feelings police.

@MaryBowdenMD Hey... you can do that in Canada too! Just have a seat in the waiting room, someone will be right with you...

I just had 2 MRIs at @HoustonMedImage.
I was in and out in about an hour.
I paid $1250.
Katie the technician was kind, professional and efficient.
Parking was incredibly easy.
Same tests would have cost $3032 at Houston Methodist Hospital.

@RealMattA_ I thought the discussion was super vanilla, but this the only part that really bothered me. You're right - Canada isn't a melting pot. I love a good melting pot, and this ain't it.

@ChildrensHD @CDCgov I don't even know what to do with this information anymore. Who am I going to tell - my friends? They either think lockdowns and coerced vaccines were vital to survival or they believe freedom trumps all. Thanks for doing the legwork though.
English

🚨 NEW — @CDCgov altered their own study on COVID-19 vaccine adverse events to downplay deaths linked to the shots, according to documents obtained by Children’s Health Defense.
Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D. who analyzed the FOIA documents, said the CDC “severely edited” the study “to promote safety and to de-emphasize death.”

The Actions Governments Must Take Now
Governments in Canada already know the nature of the threat, the scale of the problem, and the consequences of continued inaction. What is needed now is a serious and immediate response commensurate with the gravity of the moment. The safety of Jewish Canadians must be guaranteed, public order must be restored, and those responsible for facilitating antisemitic violence must be brought to justice.
The Prime Minister must address the nation immediately and set out, in clear terms, what is being done and what further measures will be taken to ensure the safety of Jewish Canadians, defend Canadian values, and confront the radical extremism that is increasingly threatening the security and social fabric of this country.
All levels of government must act now!
These are the eight actions they must take.
Federal Government
1. Establish a national antisemitism emergency task force.
2. Treat the attacks as domestic terrorism.
3. Deploy national security resources to protect Jewish institutions.
Provincial Governments
4. Fund immediate security protection for Jewish institutions.
5. Establish a special prosecution unit for hate crimes.
Municipal Governments
6. Ban events that incite hate and intimidation.
7. Enforce zero tolerance for intimidation in public spaces.
8. Prioritize protection of Jewish neighbourhoods and institutions.
The attacks we are witnessing did not occur in isolation. They are the consequence of allowing hate to fester unchecked on our streets.
A substantial reward must also be offered immediately for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for targeting Jewish institutions and businesses with gunfire.
Jewish Canadians will not be intimidated, and Jewish life will not be driven underground in this country. Governments must act now, with force, clarity, and conviction, or accept responsibility for allowing this crisis to deepen even further.

@cbcwatcher @MarkJCarney "With respect to one China and Taiwan, and expectations are long standing policy, I think I answered this earlier, but just to be clear that, we had a clear exchange, in terms of what our policy is, and a reaffirmation, as I say, of our longstanding policy." Lol.

🚨 BREAKING: Jessica Yaniv Simpson has filed a complaint against me with the BC Human Rights Tribunal.
He says I violated his human rights by calling him a man, and by denying the existence of transgender identities.
This violent man previously threatened to shoot and kill me, and pleaded guilty to uttering threats. I also had a restraining order against him for a couple of years.
Jessica rose to fame several years ago when he contacted close to 20 female estheticians and demanded they wax his intact male genitalia. Most of these women were of Indian descent, and several worked from home with small children.
Their businesses served women, not malicious men pretending to be women.
When they declined his abhorrent request, he played victim and said he was discriminated against on the basis of his gender identity.
Mr. Simpson filed complaints in 2018 and 2019 against several of these women with the BC Human Rights Tribunal, which agreed to hear three of the cases. He lost them all.
Jessica Simpson was formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv, and he is a vexatious litigant with a long history of lawfare. He now has several criminal convictions and even assaulted an elderly man at his mother’s care home.
The Municipality of Langley sent him a legal letter a few years ago declaring that their first responders would stop showing up at his home to help him out of the bathtub.
He was calling them every day after he had his vaginoplasty for emergency help to get out of the tub, and he treated these brave city employees abusively.
Never content to live his life in peace, he is now coming after me once again. Ho hum.
Bring it on.
Of note, this is the same Human Rights Tribunal which recently fined Barry Neufeld $750,000 for injury to dignity because Barry, like me, does not believe in gender identity ideology.
Not only did the Tribunal fine Barry, they literally stated the following:
“If a person elects not to ‘believe’ that gender identity is separate from sex assigned at birth, then they do not ‘believe’ in transpeople. This is a form of existential denial.
“A person does not need to believe in Christianity to accept that another person is Christian. However, to accept that a person is transgender, one must accept that their gender identity is different than their sex assigned at birth.”
The Tribunal has declared that all British Columbians must believe in gender identities.
I do not believe in gender identities. I never will. And I welcome this fight with open arms. So my message to you, BC Human Rights Tribunal, is please accept Mr. Jessica Simpson’s complaint.
I’d love to kill two birds with one stone and help take down your kangaroo court while I’m at it.
Govern yourselves accordingly.
(Here is Mr. Simpson’s email to me. Tribunal complaint is in the thread below.)

BREAKING: We've just received the news that the Carney government is appealing the Emergencies Act decision. Today was their deadline. They filed it at the absolute last moment. And we were ready. We are prepared to defend our victory that found the Emergencies Act was used unlawfully and the regulations were unconstitutional, should the Supreme Court grant leave.
