Hey, check out this wild donut chart I whipped up on Australia's mining & energy export wealth – total AU$383B haul, roughly US$274B.
It's like a bullseye of who gets what from our resource boom. Whilst everyday Aussies struggle (Bottom 90%) with the soaring housing/living costs the richest of the rich in this country trade our minerals as if they belong to them. They don't, they belong to the people!
Ask yourself this question, how can the richest people on earth regarding mineral wealth also be the highest taxed and have the least amount of disposable income in the western world?
With this kind of mineral wealth we shouldn't be paying any taxes and in-fact we should be getting dividends deposited into our bank accounts monthly and have roads paved with gold but instead we have a National debt approaching AUD$1,000,000,000 (That's 1 Trillion Dollars) that will NEVER be paid off with this kind of distribution of OUR mineral wealth.
Share if you're as pissed as me 🔫😎
