Found this cute #macintosh fake lego model recently. I had to make some adjustments: floppy on right side, no LED and one button mouse.

I played around with this again today - I still find this very cool 😎 #macintosh #DOS

Neat! Had to get the #PiSCSI out for this, but SCSI is of course very unreliable on the Plus. Also there is some screen interference going on…a recap of the analog board is probably overdue.

Something’s not quite right here…😁 In several ways apparently!

@RetroTechGuy It might be a failing flyback.... make sure the bolts holding the cores together are tight.

This #Macintosh CRT is going to need some attention by the sound of it. I should also retrobright it to match the IIsi underneath.

Well, it turned out to be a nice retro computer storage at least. Desk and workshop will have to be elsewhere. Still boxes to unpack…

@Gammitin Nice, I recently got my Toshiba 1200XE working - great fun! I had backlight and floppy issues as well as leaky caps and a dead HD. Getting a 32MB CF card to act as HD was most satisfying!

I've decided that my next refurb project will be my Toshiba T1200 [1987], she needs to live!

Well, it didn’t. At least now the caps are fresh. Troubleshooting continues…

The usual lineup of suspects…those metal blue ones do look really old. Hoping replacing these will fix the PSU to power on the #IBM5150.

@OldTechAdverts These kinds of names make it so hard to search for on the internet. I’ve been trying to find info on a Swedish computer company called ‘Datum’ which just means ‘calendar date’…too many of that 🙄

Did the science of naming a product peaked with this gem? Hopefully, the hard disk itself proved to be reliable.
