No one ever points out that the best State schools all rely almost entirely on house prices for their success, - yet they do absolutely nothing, zero, for children whose parents can't afford the huge mortgages.

This is actually a really significant point. All the most successful State schools are in reality highly discriminatory - but of course you won’t get Phillipson, Reeves or any union leader to admit it. Too busy indulging their bigoted fantasies about ‘toffs’ at private schools.

Some of us said this from the moment she was appointed. Phillipson has been a walking catastrophe for the entire country. How many individuals can you name who have knowingly caused so much real hurt, to so many children, whilst damaging their futures?

I’m sick of reading the news that another independent school has closed because the current Government were absent from all of their maths classes. I’m sick of the Government thinking they have a hand in the upbringing of our children. They don’t. And won’t.

A short thread that exposes perfectly just how ignorant and frankly bigoted, Phillipson, Reeves and all who cheered them on were. (Anyone who really knew what the UK schools landscape consisted of, would have foreseen this.)

I’ve been critical of Michael Vaughan chasing headlines and trying to manufacture clickbait quotes. I think he’s tarnished his 2005 legacy a bit by doing that. I’m one of many fans that he’s blocked. But, having said all that, credit where it’s due. Having listened to him on the TMS podcast and his own pod today, he sounds a lot more competent and capable than Rob Key. He clearly has a vision for England. He is a proven performer. I don’t think he would take any crap. He might even knock a few heads together. Would you like to see him take over from Key?
