Hey @UPS, I get that I has to pay a $8 tariff on some stuff I ordered from overseas. Could you explain why you charge an additional $33 on top of that as a 'brokerage fee'?
You brokered nothing in this deal. You just have to give my eight bucks to Uncle Sam.

Hey @DisneyPlus, I've been around the block a time or two, but maybe a show called Dying for Sex shouldn't be front and center of the home screen of your family/kids streaming service.

@IFTIpod That's when you ask about stairs and get a photo of them with a shoe on their head

@GundamInfoNA Perspective issues aside, you don't want to rest the barrel of any kind of firearm directly on anything. The pressure on the barrel is enough to impact your accuracy. At close range, it may not be much, but you go further out and it gets worse. See also: free-float hand guards.

@WeaponOutfitter USP is my winter carry. Slap an LEM trigger in one and it's good to go.

I'm gonna start conceal carrying my HK USP so I can feel like a badass NERV agent instead of a just another schlub with a Glock 19
I like that the USP is 31 years old and still relevant.

@lottaguns @FenixAmmunition On my most recent hospital stay, a woman came in, asked if I needed help getting my shoes on, then left.
There was a $200 line item on my bill for it.
English

@FenixAmmunition My favorite thing is how you can be in an ER and some cat comes by and asks a question like, "how you doing?" and you find a doctor's fee on the bill for a name you don't recognize. These doctors show up in suits and because they spoke to you they get to charge for it.
English

Maybe if you and the hospitals stopped overbilling and charges outrageous hourly rates for your services, insurance companies wouldn't be looking for ways to limit their liability for these procedures.
I am no defender of Big Insurance. I worked for an insurance company for ten years. I know ALL ABOUT the claims process and how insurance companies will try to wiggle their way out.
I ALSO know that hospitals, doctors, and service providers are milking those insurance companies for everything they think they can get away with.
We see the itemized bills. $1,500 for linens, $800 for a set of wooden crutches. It's absolute robbery and you can simply look at all the $100k+ cars sitting in the parking lot of your local hospital to see why.
Get the fuck out of here with your righteous indignation.

As an #anesthesiologist, 2 of the most important things we do are putting a patient to sleep and waking them back up. @AnthemBCBS paying for only one of these shows how they devalue patient safety for their own profits. This cannot be tolerated. @ASALifeline @WSALifeline

@GPrime85 @LeadingReport During the 2016 election season, my account of ~15 years was suddenly deleted. No warnings or anything. I was given a link to appeal the decision and never got any response.
English

@LeadingReport How many conservative accounts on Facebook and Instagram are STILL locked or shadowbanned?

@SpaceborneMedic I used 'chug' as a flourish. I had been working on it for a few hours at that point.
