Pizza Hut franchises across the country are rolling out "Pizza Hut Classic" remodels to bring back the iconic '80s and '90s dining experience. Franchisees are reviving beloved staples like the red cups, checkered tablecloths, salad bars, and classic Tiffany-style lamps to draw families back into dining rooms. After years of sleek modern redesigns, the old-school dine-in feel is suddenly making a comeback.

Today, we remember George Floyd, who was murdered by a former Minneapolis police officer six years ago.   That moment changed our city forever.

I finally made it to WAFFLE HOUSE. The staff are always friendly, and when I asked if they would sell me a menu, they sold me one for $5. Next time, I’ll be back at 3 a.m. for fight time. #WAFFLEHOUSE

"200 bucks per second (of animation) and you wonder why everyone is abandoning 'artists' in favor of AI" Hand drawn animation is 8-12 frames per second. Let's average it to 10. That's 20 bucks per drawing, in color, plus backgrounds, plus thumbnails, plus extra time if work needs to be redone or tweaked. Also complexity is exponential, so more characters per scene means more work per frame, x10 per second. If it takes more time than estimated, the artist doesn't earn get overtime. They lose money. Imagine going to work this Tuesday and your boss says "You expect me to PAY you? I could just have a machine do your job." Would you still get up at 6am go to work? Do you have a job? Do you get paid? So do artists. So, 200 bucks per second is more than fair. In fact, it's a steal. If you want quality, you have to buy it like everything else. If you want to pay nothing, all you get will be worthless slop.

Funny thing is these cognitive dissonants are against abortion all day, but have no problem dropping bombs on fully formed children. I am opposed to both, y’see.

I am relieved that President @realDonaldTrump, the best friend Israel has ever had in the White House, is safe and that the attacker was neutralized before he could cause any further harm. Political violence, including repeated attempts to assassinate President Trump, should be unequivocally and forcefully condemned by all.

@GPrime85 This is a genuine question, so I hope you take it that way. Obviously paying artists is important. But the reason we see almost no 2D animation is because the cost is so high. What do you think about the idea of artists being paid for key frames, but AI doing the in-betweens?

@DougTenNapel @SadLittleKing3D So what, the market shifted. At least you guys had a prime. Now you cheer for the market to crash further while your juniors don't even get their shot. I value what I do, if the market doesn't. I'd rather collect shopping carts and lift the medium than devalue art further.

We paid top dollar for 20 years of animation nobody wants to see or even remembers. It’s not the fault of the animator the story tellers and studios were terrible, and it’s not the craft services’ fault either. When the .com bubble popped and developers couldn’t get paid because the market collapsed, their salaries went down, often disappeared. The early 90s animation boom overpaid animators because of competition then their movies tanked and they all got unemployed. The talent of the animator does not trump simple economics forces of a market. If you want to be paid to animate, make animation more people want to see:

@KDimitratos Both of you should've given up the number one spot in protest like female athletes forced to compete against men. If corrupt judges don't want to reward excellence, they won't have it.

Nicolas Cage says turning down Insomnia led Christopher Nolan to never offer him another role again: “Most of them, they get their feelings hurt and don’t call you back. It’s happened with Christopher Nolan, it’s happened with Woody Allen, it’s happened with Paul Thomas Anderson. They don’t call me back.”
