Small thing perhaps , but genuinely emblematic of our decline. A shoddy ‘national’ Christmas tree, decorated with no care or flair. Trafalgar Square used to be a magnet at this time of year. Best advice for visitors to make instead for Covent Garden and its unapologetic tree.

God I hope this does not happen. I truly loved this show growing up but there is no reason to bring these characters back. Their stories were told and it was awesome. @VDOOZER have they involved you in this?

Biden’s pardon of his son is shocking - and sets a terrible precedent on the eve of the Trump Presidency. To overrule a full legal judgement in this way is bad: to do it for your own son makes the matter not better but worse.
