When "Age of Consent" by New Order starts playing, you know you're getting some introspective Gen Xers.

Watched the first episode of Rooster, on HBO. It's perhaps the most Bill Lawrence creation of all-time. Just pure, distilled Bill Lawrence.

@Hoodie_Milly @LifeisGroovy_ A Man's inability to tolerate injustice even to the detriment of himself. Also some cool spiritual journeys in there. Every character has an arc.

Oh its not obligation its FOMO lol. And to be fair, some of my favorite shows ever made took a few tries before I got into them. I had to try game of thrones like 10 times. If I may just ask one question. Scrubs seems like a coming of age story about relationships, especially mentorship. Shrinking seems to be heavily focused on grief and coping and rebuilding after loss. And Ted Lasso is largely about the heart of sports, teamwork and as Ted says, turning those young men into the best version of themselves they can be. I guess im wondering thematically, in the same vein as i described the others. what is the heart of bad monkey?

I’ve gotten to the point of cynicism that I can’t watch a Bill Lawrence show. The edgeless happy-go-lucky-everyone-gets-along comedy just pisses me off

Omg thanks for responding im a massive fan of yours. Scrubs, Shrinking and Ted Lasso are 3 of the greatest shows ever made and I love Rooster so far. Bad monkey is just so different from your other work. I guess I just have a little trouble wrapping my mind around it. But just for you I will try it again
