Shame on @tdsb. Remember this day and vote out every single trustee who failed to keep Jewish students safe. To all families and parents terrified for your child’s safety, please know that we will keep fighting. To jewish students, you’re not in this fight alone. Allies, as Jewish students remain a direct target of antisemitic hate in our country, we must step up and speak out. @tdsb you will not silence nor will you erase the rights, voice and lived experiences of the Jewish community. You have a duty to keep students safe and today you have willingly failed to do so with your divisive and dangerous policy.

Another example of @NDP Jew-erasure: a ridiculous & offensive "purim message" from this MPP. Purim is a JEWISH holiday about JEWS' survival in the face of antisemitism. Imagine telling another community what THEIR holiday is about, and then centring yourself in the message.

Last night, Gryfe’s Bagels -a well known Jewish owned business on Bathurst in EgLaw- was vandalized. Add it to the rising wave of antisemitism and hate that is flooding our community. Those who are responsible for these crimes should be brought to justice.

A thread for my non Jewish friends and colleagues on being a Jew right now: This weekend, we have sat glued to the TV, watching online streams of Israeli news. Waiting for hours as the release of hostages was cruelly delayed. Wondering if it would even happen. 1/
