I missed having such a simple car.
Cloudy headlight lenses? Unclip and replace BOTH of them for $50. Struts are blown? Undo a few bolts, yank em out in under a half hour. Shifter bushings bad? Unbolt a heat shield and undo some clips, pull.
Never buying post ‘05 BMWs again.

@SPDeezNuts 1996-2005 BMW is peak automobile. Wonderful vehicles. I have a 2003 325Xit. Next month it gets an S54 and manual conversion. Also have a 2005 X5 3.0 MANUAL. Both north of 175k miles. Fabulous vehicles.

@ExpeditionAudi @YS3ED5 I’ve only had bad experiences with BMWs when the PO defers all the damn maintenance. When they’re sorted and you treat them well, they never let you down. Never had a single flatbed moment in over 16 of em.
