@SamiRmcf15 Barca probably needed time to pull more levers for funds and Julian probably knew that so he went and bought time at Atleti to get the lay of the land in La Liga.

I kinda understand Atletico, Julian Alvarez is their franchise player. But why would Julian join such club where there's no hope of winning trophies at the first place?
