Japan, here’s another American Classic! It’s MEATLOAF‼️ It’s just a big chunky mound of beef with onions,bell peppers and Cheese… My grandmother cooked this once a week when I was a kid. Now my wife makes the loaf and I smoke it in the Smoker! This pairs great with mashed potatoes and brown gravy! What would be a good side dish for this in Japan?

@trumpvance33 In our house it's 50% beef, 50% pork, eggs, bread crumbs and seasonings. Topped with bacon strips and barbecue sauce. Diced onion and green bell pepper are perfectly acceptable. Served with mashed potatos and some kind of vegetable - carrots or green beans.

昔、イチゴが大好きだった長男は、高級イチゴを食べたら相当おいしかったらしく、スーパーで買った400円のイチゴを食べなくなってしまった。
もともとはそのイチゴが大好きだったのに。
極上のものを一つ知ることで、今まで好きだったものを一つ手放してしまう。
それって、本当に豊かなんだろうかと思う。
大人になると、そういう在り方をカッコいいと思っているのか、あえてそう振る舞う人もいるように見える。
でも、自分は逆だと思っている。
どんなものでも「おいしい」と思えるままでいたほうが、きっと人生は広くて、自由だ。
