Later we became friends.

@McKayEli @ianvisits @ltmuseum I’m so sorry to hear this @McKayEli. It certainly is a very selfish act. Having had the joy of travelling with @ltmuseum on the ‘38 on previous occasions it’s prevented others having this brilliant experience. It’s also caused the museum many hours of work.

I’ve met very few legends, but here’s one I did meet. Richard Sherman, whose music writing credits - together with his late brother Robert - include Mary Poppins, Jungle Book and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. An alumnus of Beverly Hills High where I was in 2015. A lovely man. RIP.
