My guy, shooting a higher clip of threes and not getting paint points correlates with less free throws. Look at the Celtics, every year they’re the lowest free throws. They also have the lowest paint points. When you’re in the paint more, you typically get fouled more. More drives correlate with higher free throw rate Damn y’all are nuts

Just shows how much basketball and statistics you know. When you shoot perimeter shots, there’s a less likelihood of getting fouled. More paint points correlate with a higher free throw percentage because you’re driving through multiple defenders and leads to a higher probability of getting to the line. Why the Celtics are always the bottom third in free throws
