Can I say something about the state of US soccer and why it doesn't live up? Think people are overcomplicating it. The rest of the world only has soccer, our kids grow up wanting to be football, basketball, hockey and baseball players. Simple as that imo

In case you're wondering why America will never win a World Cup, it's because our best athletes play football and basketball. Had Erling Haaland been raised in America, he would've switched to real football by age 8 and played tight end for Ohio State and in the NFL!

The United States has won more Olympic gold medals than any other country in history, we are the best at sports in the world by far. We don’t even send our average players to compete in soccer but if we wanted to, we’d become the best in the world within five years and never lose a match after that.

Belgium has been granted the right to appeal against FIFA’s decision to suspend the one-game ban handed to USMNT star Folarin Balogun, less than 24 hours before the team’s round of 16 match vs. the United States, per The Athletic. The Belgian federation said it was “astonished” by FIFA’s decision to suspend the ban for a period of one year and the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) responded that the move was in “direct contradiction” of the competition regulations and said it is exploring “all potential options.”
