The more I read this, the more I realize how it is utterly illiterate. How exactly do you decolonize someone’s birthplace? He lived there. No one came in and conquered his house. It’s just a house of a man that exists. These people are exhausting 🙄

Huh. Fully operational IRBMs. I guess President Trump and U.S. defense officials had access to information regarding Iran's missile capabilities that was not available to leftwing tankies, New Right dipshits, and journalists.
OSINTtechnical@Osinttechnical

Iran fired a pair of intermediate-range ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, a joint U.S.-UK base in the Indian Ocean. One missile failed in flight, and another was engaged by a US Navy destroyer using an SM-3 missile.

Tucker Carlson brought Jiang Xueqin, a low-IQ Chinese conman, to peddle conspiracy theories to millions of people. To counter his points: (1) The tunnel near the Wailing Wall isn't being dug into the Temple Mount. It is an ancient water system from the Temple Era. There is archaeological work at the site, but even tourists can enter for a tour. You're welcome to go there if you ever go to Jerusalem; it is quite remarkable. (2) Demolishing Al Aqsa is not an option. It is built over the Foundation Stone, AKA 'Even HaShtiyyah'. Traditional sources identify it as the spot from which God created the world and where Abraham prepared to sacrifice Isaac. It is believed to be the location of the Holy of Holies in the First and Second Temples. Do you think Israel would risk destroying such an important holy artifact by blowing it up from underground? (3) Israel doesn't need to destroy Al Aqsa to trigger a war between the Arab world and Iran; they're already at war. Just read the latest news about Iran bombing Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf States. (4) The only point he made which is true is that we Israelis want Greater Israel – But why shouldn't we? It is our birthright.

Furthermore, this idea that countries can't detain enemy collaborators during wars of survival is modern podcast brain-rot. It's contrary to all historical norms. No, Britain was not required to allow a *literal Hitler-funded nazi collaborator* plot against them.

Credit where it's due: Tucker is amazing at confidently delivering absolute lies. Here he is claiming that Churchill locked up members of the opposition party during WW2. When, in fact, Churchill led a National Government, i.e. one that INCLUDED leaders of the opposition parties in prominent roles. Labour leader Clement Atlee was appointed Churchill's Deputy and other leading Labour and Liberal politicians held major roles in the cabinet. The person Tucker is talking about is Oswald Mosley who was the leader of the British Union of Fascists and was not elected to anything. He wanted Britain to become a fascist country and work with Hitler. Despite this, contrary to Tucker's claims, he was not even detained for the full duration of the war and was released in 1943, two years before it ended. In most other countries he would have been hanged for treason without a second thought the day the war started. Britain's treatment of this tiny group of fascists, i.e. enemy sympathisers and collaborators, during WW2 is an example of extraordinary restraint and respect for the sanctity of human life and freedom that was not only unparalleled in the world at that time but arguably remains rare and hugely admirable even by the standards of today across most of the world. In short, Tucker is completely wrong and we can only conclude that the spreading of these malicious lies is motivated not only by his ignorance of history but also by the fact that he will say ANYTHING he deems necessary to suit his political agenda. His opposition to the current war in Iran, about which I myself have expressed some skepticism, does not justify this behaviour and is, in fact, undermined by it - no right- thinking person can take him seriously after this.

In my observation, if you spend all day thinking about “the Jews,” it’s a sign that something in your life isn’t going well and, instead of fueling that resentment and paranoia, you’d be better off putting your personal life together. You might try listening to Jordan Peterson.

Your Excellency, you shared with me through text message to me that my position reflects Catholic teaching, especially that the modern state of Israel is not the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy. That is the position I expressed, and yet I was removed from the Religious Liberty Commission. Respectfully, it is difficult not to conclude that this commission does not truly care about religious liberty when a Catholic can be removed for faithfully articulating the Church’s teaching. Asking me to deny Catholic teaching in order to satisfy a political ideology is itself a violation of my religious freedom. As Pope Leo XIII warned, “To recoil before an enemy, or to keep silence when from all sides such clamor is raised against truth, is the part of a coward.” Whether I serve on this Commission or not, my voice will only grow louder for those being persecuted for their faith. I believe this appointment was ordained by God, and I will not abandon my Catholic faith to keep a position on a commission that has abandoned its mission. If my religious freedom is not protected, then no one’s is. Please speak up. Please stand up for Catholics. Be brave, Bishop Barron. The world needs brave men.

Friends, it’s an honor to serve on the White House Religious Liberty Commission. This week, we gathered in Washington, DC to discuss religious freedom in healthcare.  Please keep this important work in your prayers.

Hasidic Jews in Kiryas Joel take a lot of abuse from ignorant YouTubers and other haters for not caring about their non Jewish neighbors. The NY State Police apparently disagrees. Kudos to the dedicated volunteers at Kiryas Joel EMS for their lifesaving work for anyone in need.

Over the past several weeks, Carrie Prejean Boller has complained that she was removed from the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty because of her Catholic beliefs, and she has called out myself and other Catholic members of the commission for not defending her. This is absurd. Mrs. Prejean Boller was not dismissed for her religious convictions but rather for her behavior at a gathering of the Commission last month: browbeating witnesses, aggressively asserting her point of view, hijacking the meeting for her own political purposes. The Catholic position on matters of “Zionism,” to which I fully subscribe, is as follows: all forms of antisemitism are to be unequivocally condemned; the state of Israel has a right to exist; but the modern nation of Israel does not represent the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies and hence does not stand beyond criticism. If Mrs. Prejean Boller were dismissed for holding these beliefs, it is difficult to understand why I am still a member of the Commission. To paint herself as a victim of anti-Catholic prejudice or to claim that her religious liberty has been denied is simply preposterous.
