Full quote: “The Jews, I find are very, very selfish. They care not how many Estonians, Latvians, Finns, Poles, Yugoslavs or Greeks get murdered or mistreated as DP [displaced persons] as long as the Jews get special treatment. Yet when they have power, physical, financial or political, neither Hitler nor Stalin has anything on them for cruelty or mistreatment to the underdog.” Handwritten note by President Harry S. Truman dated July 21, 1947, summarising remarks made during a meeting with former Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau Jr. Source: catalog.archives.gov/id/5859986?obj…

Mayor Mamdani says his wife, Rama Duwaji, was not aware of anti-Israel posts (like calling some Israeli citizens “parasites”) from an author she illustrated an essay for. Mamdani calls that rhetoric “reprehensible” and says his wife booked the gig thru a 3rd party

My grandmother escaped the ghetto only to be trafficked - as a child - by Russian soldiers. Her mother had to BUY her back. Then as a young woman in Israel my grandmother was stabbed by an Arab man in the shuk. She lived. I was not raised to seek revenge on Russians or Arabs.

Mamdani condemns his wife making artwork for the brilliant and renowned Palestinian literary @susanabulhawa because she called Zionists parasites Yet pays his respects and made pilgrimage to Rabbi Menachem Schneerson’s grave, the same rabbi who said: “Two contrary types of soul exist. A non-Jewish soul comes from three satanic spheres, while the Jewish soul stems from holiness.” “A Jew was not created as a means for some other purpose; he himself is the purpose, since the substance of all divine emanations was created only to serve the Jews.” “The body of a Jewish person is of a totally different quality from the body of members of all nations of the world… the difference is so great that the bodies should be considered completely different species.”

This is deeply disturbing and not enough people are talking about it. Zohran Mamdani just went to the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens, venerating the founder of the racist, Zionist Chabad movement. The Rebbe’s movement has a long history that should make anyone pause. In 1991 a car in his motorcade killed 7‑year-old Gavin Cato, a Black Caribbean child in Crown Heights. The first ambulance to arrive was Jewish Hatzalah, which took the Jewish driver and passengers before treating the child, who was killed by the motorcade. The Rebbe never apologized or took responsibility. Fast forward to April 2025: Chabad invited far-right Israeli Minister Itamar Ben‑Gvir to their Brooklyn headquarters. Outside, a mob of Orthodox men chanted “death to Arabs,” surrounded and chased a woman they thought was a protester, threatened her with rape, kicked her, hurled cones and trash cans, and another Jewish supporter of Palestine was hospitalized with a bloody head wound. Hundreds followed her for blocks before police got her to safety. Chabad-Lubavitch is actively cheering on and materially supporting the Israeli military. Branches have raised tens of thousands of dollars for the IDF, a Chabad charity in the U.K. was officially warned for buying military equipment for soldiers, and senior rabbis in Israel lobbied the government on war policies and settlements, framing military action as religiously mandated. Their “Moshiach” messaging and flags are everywhere — on Israeli tanks in Gaza and across NYC streets — signaling a messianic justification for this violence. So Mamdani is venerating the leader of a sect that: • is politically and rabidly pro-Israel, • has tolerated violent, anti-Arab racism, • never reckoned with a racist tragedy in its own motorcade, • has materially and ideologically supported military operations in Gaza. Meanwhile, he hasn’t said a word about Gaza since the ceasefire on October 10, even though around 400 Palestinians have been killed, including children and civilians. Our people are dying daily, and not a whisper.

@cowardhunter48 @NerdeenKiswani Betar said she'd be denaturalized and deported for years now. Unfortunately for them, America is still 98% Gentile and our justice system isn't their Sanhedrin, so they don't get to decide based on our goyim laws.

I was on a panel with Zohran’s father after October 7. I wonder if he’ll condemn him for speaking alongside me. I also organized a protest he himself spoke at in 2021. Maybe he’ll condemn himself for that too. Apparently being a revolutionary Palestinian is leprosy these days.

Honestly this is beyond shameful @ZohranKMamdani, I’m not gonna say that you used Palestine or the suffering of Palestinians to become the mayor, because that’s an intellectually dead argument. Your activism has been there for over 10 years, and no, you weren’t predicting the future. However, you’ve been bending the knee to the empire again and again. & that’s just disgraceful.

@StopZioterror @KhalilJeries What happened to this man's family broke him. I'm not judging in any way. A lot of folks might break. I'm not sure I wouldn't. I've never been tested like that. But I believe the people who can go through something like that and not descend into hatred are humanity's best hope.

The argument that an attacker’s actions are "understandable" because he lost family members fails to explain why the vast majority of people from Palestine and Lebanon who suffer similar losses do not commit such crimes. While losing family members is a contributing factor, it is certainly not the only one. There is a distinction between those who carry out these acts and the rest of us with similar experiences: a specific belief that such actions can be justified. Whether rooted in ideology, mental health issues, or other factors, the loss alone does not account for the crime.

@StopZioterror @KhalilJeries What Israel has done to Gaza is beyond horrifying. I can honestly understand how that would drive people on the receiving end to hatred. If I'm being honest though, I feel more culpable as an American than as a Jew. My government made it possible. I've never even been to Israel.

Not sure why people said he condemned his wife, he didn’t. He defended her by throwing a Palestinian under the bus. She was hired to make art for a piece written by a Palestinian author. He said his wife wasn’t associated with her and called her reprehensible. Tbh his wife should stand by the author who’s now being attacked because of them. Anyone who condemns someone like Susan shouldn’t be welcomed into our spaces.

Ever since I was a child, the first Palestinian author I remember hearing about was @SusanAbulhawa. Today I read my child a children’s book she recently published. She has been a pillar of Palestinian literature & our community for decades. Any attack on her is attacking us all.
