@lslisa7 @PicturesFoIder Washington could either Washington state or Washington D.C. Most people only really know Washington D.C. and so just call it Washington without bothering to add the D.C. bit. It's a legitimate answer. Even in America, most people usually refer to D.C. when they say Washington.
