@PierreVLeBrun Coop not receiving the Jack Adams award this year or most years is a travesty and degrades the award regardless of when it's timed.

I always thought it was strange the NHL waited until there were 4 teams left in the Stanley Cup playoffs to vote on the GM of the Year Award. Kind of made it hard not to nominate 3 of those 4 GMs left standing. The NHL has rectified that, Colin Campbell confirms the voting has been changed to after the 1st round instead. Which makes way more sense. Campbell went to GMs with the idea of the tweak at GM meetings last month and they agreed.
