This argument is so silly to me bc isn’t Aang 12/13 to katara’s 14/15? That’s literally the same age difference as so many m/f couplings in the avatar universe but it’s a problem when the women is older than the man, some of y’all need to analyze your internalized misogyny

Also the adultifying of katara is genuinely insane too like she’s 13/14, she’s constantly being treated as motherly and nagging meanwhile Sokka is far more of a ‘father’ friend than Katara is a ‘mom’ friend

Zutara have the same age difference but it’s fine bc y’all have this misogynistic idea of women being more mature for their age and project that on to Katara even when her character herself resents that, meanwhile Katang with the same age difference is somehow immoral and gross
