Long green runs ≠ good or bad. I appreciate races that play out as naturally as possible, but that's no guarantee the race is good, and I'd have figured that was obvious

@White_Shockz @HardNASCARPics Yea but it can also be the other way around we’ve seen many races have way better finishes than originally because of it and lots of super speedway races have been saved due to it so my vote is no.

@HardNASCARPics Its like the one thing that nascar does that other motorsports dont do, that i actually like. It just sucks to see a crazy battle happening with 4 to go and a debris caution comes out and then thats just it, no crazy battle anymore.

I get it wouldn't eliminate fuel saving completely but just get rid of the stage cautions so that way it can at least turn into a 100% strategy race, I think the fans and drivers would like that more
The return of preseason thunder at Daytona is a nice touch though

NASCAR's Probst says: -Talladega first stage will be longer than final two stages to try to mitigate the fuel-mileage incentives. Final two stages won't require a fuel stop. Stage lengths TBD. -preseason test at Daytona in January to change power levels & spoiler to see impact.

@bobpockrass This is why NASCAR annoys me. All they have to do is get rid of stage yellows. They could do that with the stroke of a pen. But no. They'd rather keep tweeking the lengths instead of a one fix.
