@Sheng_Peng Smith is not a guy you win with in the playoffs. Dude avoids taking contact like the plague and just stays on the perimeter. He was a complete liability all game when there is less time and space out there. I am not a believer in the kid until he changes the way he plays.

@ProfHockeyYT Looked like the Will Smith we saw in his first games of his rookie season. I am not a believer in him when games get physical and there is less time and space. He is our best trade chip not named Misa, unfortunately he is Celebrini's best friend and I fear Grier will keep him.

@Sheng_Peng Smith should have been benched, was easily the worst player in tonight's game. Did he make a single good play, meanwhile plays constantly died on his stick with NUMEROUS turnovers.

@halfwall_hockey Eh the Preds are making physical plays on Celebrini any chance they get. The Sharks are just a super soft team and are too easy to play against, would never survive in a playoff series like this. Sherwood was brought in for that and failing, have seen none of that tonight, 0 hits

@FowleBall15 Eklund has 244 NHL games with no 20 goal seasons. This is Grafs first full NHL season, hits 20 goals, only has 113 NHL games of experience, also has zero PP time while Eklund is on PP1. Feel like Graf has more runway and can get even better. Both Warso/Grier praise his high IQ

There is a lot of speculation about Auston Matthews' future in Toronto, and whether he'll want out if he feels the Leafs won't be competitive next season. If Matthews feels it's time to go, should Mike Grier entertain the thought of bringing him to San Jose? Has two years left on his deal, at a $13.25m cap hit (or some retention).

@TOSharks He's played well with Celebrini but on a good team there are 3-4 other wingers better than he is.

On a playoff contender I think Graf and this edition of Toffoli are 4th liners, Wennberg is defensive 3C, and none of these defense pairs exists.

@jasondemers5 Also agreed, Leddy since being called up after being put on waivers again has been a positive for the team. Feels like that was a wakeup call for him and he is motivated to prove he can still play, and wants to earn another contract this offseason from any team.

@Sheng_Peng Condensed schedule, Olympics, huge ice time, has to do everything on his line, no surprise that the gas tank is empty. No shame in that he help desperately needs help next season. Sharks are a bottom 5 team when he's not 100% no surprise there. Captain material he takes the blame

@SJBarryCuda @Sheng_Peng The article is talking about next year. They can definitely try and acquire some through trade this offseason, dangle Eklund/Bystedt/Musty etc and as I said originally I want this team to tank and acquire one through the draft....
