Someday, when I own my own yoga studio, serial gas passers will be deeply humiliated, promptly removed, and indefinitely banned. Namaste.

I eliminated 85% of microplastics from my ejaculate. Nov 2024: 165 particles/mL July 2025: 20 particles/mL Nearly identical drop in my blood same time period: Oct 2024: 70 particles/mL May 2025: 10 particles/mL Important as a meta-analysis of 36 studies reveals that microplastics induce oxidative stress in the male reproductive system, leading to testicular inflammation, cell death, and reduced testosterone levels, sperm production, and motility. Two studies last year showed that microplastics were detected in every human testicular and semen samples tested. The therapy we think most responsible for this reduction is sauna as it also eliminated most environmental toxins in my body, including those linked to various plastics (200 F, 20 min daily w/ ice on the boys). I also avoid the big no-no’s like microwaving in plastic, plastic cutting board, and having a reverse osmosis water system. To our knowledge, this is the first report of any correlation (esp in the same person over two timepoints) between blood and semen microplastic levels, demonstrating successful microplastic detoxification in the semen following that in the blood.

Expanding IVF in theory is a great thing. The problem? The U.S. is at capacity. A big thank you to Dr. David Sable for chatting with me about what these changes mean.

I took some time last night to watch this interview of #CharlieKirk at @UniofOxford (worth the time). About 20 minutes in, I about fell off my chair. Charlie mentions the “lost boys”. He’s referring to young men who have no purpose and never grow up. I’ve heard that before. Marcia Inhorn of @Yale coined the term after she did research on why women weren’t finding mates and freezing eggs in record numbers. She wrote a book about it (had he read her?), and I learned this when I interviewed her. They are after different things of course. Charlie’s interview was wide ranging - from tariffs to abortion to “red pill media”. Marcia studies male-factor infertility. But I was struck how two people - with such vastly different profiles and points of view - had come to the same conclusion. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past six months through all the conversations I’ve had with people who study the deepest and most secretive parts of men, it’s that the youngest generation - those who are meant to be virile and strong and ambitious - are lost. And they have nowhere to turn. But as both Marcia and Charlie say: they want love; they want compassion; they want purpose. m.youtube.com/watch?v=xnqSNE…

Men’s health has declined, and they are at a higher risk of death than women at every stage of life. Hear that? Every. Stage. Of. Life. Did you also know that men’s anatomy (can’t say real words on this platform) is also a HUGE indicator for that health? But we know very little about it. Why is this? Because we have coded reproduction as a women’s issue, and as a result we know almost nothing about sem3n and sp3rm (sic on purpose). In fact, very little money is spent focusing on this. I polled dozens of men and women for their secret p3nis questions - things they always wanted to know but never asked. Then I talked to Joshua Halpern, Chief Scientific Officer at Posterity Health for almost an hour in this four-part podcast. (In comments) Among other things, I learned the accurate way to say “perineum” (and the conspiracy theories are right! They are shrinking! Like a smidge.) Check out the podcast here, and learn so much more at Batch Global.

American IVF doctors are at capacity. Sure, more babies are good. But where will women go for the help? Mexico. batch.global
