Final(7) | Jax State 18, Sam Houston 7 Collin Aloisio goes one inning in his first Saturday start for the Kats. He allowed seven hits, eight runs and punched out one. The Bearkat bats came alive, but it was too little too late. Sam Houston will try to avoid a sweep to start CUSA play tomorrow.

Catching up here, tough way to end the CUSA season. I know there was more to be had, this team was special! Overall just a fantastic year for the Kats! • Finished 2nd in CUSA, making the Semifinals • Mudge wins Co-Coach of the Year for the 2nd time in 3 years • Natt earns Defensive Player of the year honors • Walker earns the 6th Player of the Year honors • Many others that are too long to list! Looking at the injury list before the game, so many big names, big contributors we went without for the majority of the season. It's really hard to keep up with pretty much anyone with just 7-8 guys. Luckily most of these guys are young and we can hopefully keep them around (Hint: DONATE TO NIL)

@SportsofSHSU @BearkatsMBB Here’s a thought, you lose to a last place team with 6 available scholarship players that was averaging 61 points a game and you gave up 83. Wide open 3’s and easy layups all night. Defensive effort was piss poor. Missed King but that’s not why they lost.

Men's basketball is playing this game against Delaware extremely close with Delaware as they head to the under-eight media timeout down just two points. For having just seven available players, cannot deny the effort they are putting on display.
