You can’t judge the DA without its history. Many of its policy positions consistently ignore South Africa’s structural inequality and end up reproducing it. They consistently protect existing privilege rather than dismantling it.

We tend to look at the DA based on historical and preconceived ideas, the same way that some look at the ANC. We should analyse the party based on its social and economic policies, the same way we do on the ANC, MKP and EFF. Citizens view are not homogeneous. X is not a country
