incredible example in this clip of how jimmy fallon is terrible at all this. just immediately starts panicking and losing control of the interview as he tries to railroad back into his prepared material. conan would have immediately spun this into classic five minute reel.

Let me get this straight. You get a jury duty summons so you have to rearrange your life to plan to be there; be in the country, be sober, be awake, etc., and then they can push it back a day but you can’t find out until after 5 pm the day before?
