@TheGameVerse These character models were created by Ubisoft India with a clearly stated stylized art direction. The outrage was never really about the graphics or the visuals or gameplay it was always about where the game was made.

If you’re deciding not to buy #CrimsonDesert purely based on ratings, maybe take a moment to remember how these two turned out.

Crimson Desert looks absolutely stunning. The animal life in this game is incredible flamingos, elephants, and more Some of the best visuals I’ve ever seen in an open-world game truly mind-blowing.

@IGN People really need to stop hating just for the sake of it. From what I’ve seen, it actually looks good not perfect, but definitely good. And the best part? It’s optional. You can turn it on or off like RT, plus it’s something the developers themselves chose to implement.

Like many others, I want to see Crimson Desert running on PS5 since that’s probably where I’ll end up playing it. But it’s funny how suddenly everyone becomes a console gameplay inspector only for Crimson Desert but no one applies this standard to the so-called AAAA developers.

@digitalfoundry I think I’m doomed my only two options are RTX 4050 or a base PS5. From the looks of it, one might not even run the game properly, and the other will probably crawl at 20–25 FPS

@SynthPotato This is what four extra years of polish can do to a game. If I remember correctly, Crimson Desert was originally planned for Winter 2021 and it was even supposed to launch on PS4 and Xbox One back then.

Haven’t bought #ResidentEvilRequiem yet, but I genuinely want to know why does the base PS5 have no ray tracing option this time? I guess the standard console formula was 30 FPS with Ray Tracing & 60 FPS Performance Mode. So why drop RT entirely on base PS5 ? What changed? 🤔
