What are examples in any form of media where a "brilliant song/painting/play/etc" within the story is actually as good as the characters act like it is? Note: NOT the same as just "I liked it". It needs to actually fully match its fictional reputation

Honest question for the Rockets fanbase (no trolling intended): Would Daryl Morey have allowed this season to spiral like this? Even with some of the cap constraints? I just have a hard time believing Morey out of all GMs would've done absolutely nothing.
The worst part about this disaster of a year for me is how it literally felt like Stone and the front office PUNTED on their chances. Out Loud. Directly. Showed no urgency to salvage this year, and Udoka seemingly isn't mitigating anything.
