Chicago train rider: "I'ma kiII whites. I got out 2 days ago. I finna kiIl for real."

You just quoted a Catholic bishop’s prayer to take a swipe at Catholics. That collapses immediately. 1️⃣ St. Patrick wasn’t “anti-papist” He was a bishop in apostolic succession. The very thing you’re rejecting is the office he held. 2️⃣ That prayer is Catholic to the core It’s not “me and Jesus, no Church.” It’s Christ everywhere: in, through, and among His people. That’s sacramental, incarnational Christianity… not Protestant minimalism. 3️⃣ You created a false choice Patrick never made “Christ vs. the Church” is fiction. Christ founded a Church (Matt 16:18). Christ sent ministers (John 20:21–23). Christ said hear them = hear Me (Luke 10:16). Patrick lived that reality. He didn’t reject it. 4️⃣ Your argument eats itself You trust Patrick enough to quote him… but reject the Church that formed him, sent him, and defined his faith. Pick one. Bottom line: Quoting St. Patrick against Catholicism is like quoting a quarterback to prove football doesn’t need a team.
