Considering the pitch they produced at the MCG it sounds like the perfect preparation Not to mention Australia picking Michael Neser who got loads of wickets in... Division 2 And this idea that pitches are green tops in April is false. Just look at the scores

@ViewfromtheBpod Yes because getting wickets on a green top in very early April against very average div 2 opposition is just like bowling at the MCG in the Ashes isn't it..........get a grip FFS

If weather plays ball good chance for Notts to try and force a win You'd hope they wouldn't lose from here with Somerset having to bat again then take another 10 wickets If we get a lead I hope we hit the accelerator as it won't be easy second time around to bowl them out

Last season Hameed was bowled or LBW 9 times and caught 9 times Being dismissed nearly 50% of the time (there was a run out) from deliveries hitting the stumps seems a little high for a Test opener That percentage was also higher in 2024 For Slater it was 8 and 15 last year
