@VoidLessTears For characters that toe the line like megumin, I can understand this philosophy. There are far too many cases of characters that are very clearly adult women being lumped into this category, though.

Age was important at one time because it comes from Nabokov's Lolita. Now it's not so important because they create lolis with different ages.

@LabubuViolator Bro, it's like watching people call a tomato a vegetable when it's classified as a fruit. Just because it's not as sweet as the others in its family doesn't mean it's any less of a fruit. Same goes for lolis of different builds it's still a LOLI.

Yes , Hu Tao is 100% a loli as she fits all of the descriptions I just listed. If age mattered you wouldn't call it a 300+ yr old anime girl a loli.

@spicycharles999 @kangaman551 Not EVERY loli has the same build. Lolis are short, petite, flat chested girls/women and are shorter than others. just because one has more "details" then others doesn't mean they're not a loli.

@kangaman551 @VoidLessTears I don’t agree. This is what most people think when they hear “loli”, which is a child (anatomically, at least), not a petite woman. The Infograph from the quoted tweet is right for distinguishing the two and should be referenced more with how often people mix this up.

Being called a "gooner" for enjoying fanservice games or just generally erotic content doesn't bother me. I'm secure enough in my sexuality and relationship to know what I'm into is healthy. Overall I'm not a very sexual person, I just like pretty things and having fun.
