Bro wtf 😨😰 These women are literally lying on ground and one even has a little girl beside her and that man is walking on their stomachs… Thanks to internet we are seeing such ridiculous practices still being followed in India. We are doomed if this madness doesn’t stop.

The great Indian “middle” class (which is actually the top 1-5%) knows perfectly well how much domestic workers struggle. They know how hand to mouth their existence is and still think in terms of “supply and demand” when fixing their wages.

Absolutely wild that so many journalists are running with anon government sources saying that proportion of each state will remain the same when the new bills literally state that the 1976 freeze will be broken and numbers will be based on latest census.

quite a damning graph! china’s manufacturing wages grew roughly 7x between 1981–2005, while india’s grew about 2x over the same period. within india, real wages per worker declined from the early 1990s through 2010, and labour’s share in manufacturing value added also fell.

Five questions on ChatGPT use 500 ml of water. Bengaluru has 31 data centres guzzling water to do such tasks. And neither the water board, pollution control board nor the IT department can quantify their water use. Read the full report by @kavashivani. thenewsminute.com/karnataka/in-b…

Indian railways is all set to roll out closed door, non-AC local trains in Mumbai. This will most likely become a furnace once packed to the brim.

Communist organisations and unions have been butchered at every step. It's not a coincidence that communists have power in only one state in India, while exploitation of workers is reaching a crisis situation.

So many graduates in quotes expressing outrage: ‘companies are hiring engineering grads at 27k a month while these people want 20k’ Somehow the problem isn't that graduates are being underpaid too. Somehow this isn't a moment of solidarity with other workers.

People often say China industrialized due to Deng's reform, what they ignore is that massive social transformation China went under Mao, they established free education, healthcare and laid the base to become rapidly industrialized to become the superpower they are today....
