Last December, I wrote to the White House urging the suspension of funding to NGOs until we could determine exactly where our foreign aid was going. That is exactly what @POTUS and @SecRubio have done, and I applaud the Trump Administration for ensuring American taxpayer dollars will no longer flow through ungoverned NGOs.

@realhomerhickam @realhomerhickam nailed it with two words. Taxpayers will spend trillions of dollars for a moon base because of its 'economic potential.' Like all government programs that invest our hard earned dollars we the people never see a ROI😢

It was great yesterday being on various shows with some great people talking about the Artemis flight and the purpose of building an outpost on the moon. I was disappointed, however, at the number of those same wonderful people who talked about going to Mars as if that really was the plan. As I have mentioned time & time again, there are zero plans by NASA or anyone else to send humans to Mars. We don’t have the technology and will not have the technology for a very long time. Nor is there a real reason to send humans to Mars unlike the moon where clearly there is great economic potential. Robots are fine for Mars for now. President Trump got Artemis mixed up with going to Mars in his first administration. So did a lot in Congress. Let’s not make this mistake again. Going to the moon for the purpose of going to Mars is like the pilgrims going to New England for the purpose of going to Antarctica. And in the Mayflower. With probably the same result.

And the political news goes on and on about fraud. Ever now and then an arrest is mentioned. Maybe 1 in a 1000 are arrested. Then the arrest drops out of sight. No news about prison time. If the fraudulent money pipelines are stopped and our taxpayers dollars are no longer flowing to crooks, why aren't we the taxpayers getting some of that money back?

@MarshaBlackburn Nope. Not deported. Put 'em in leg irons and put 'em to work on farms and other 'Dirty Jobs' until they have earned enough to repay, with interest, everyone they stole from.

Anyone who comes to the United States and steals from American taxpayers by committing fraud should be deported.   My Fraud Accountability Act would hold these criminals accountable for robbing taxpayers.   It’s time to get it passed.

@epaleezeldin Depending on the government to child proof gas cans is idiotic! That's the parents job. If the parents won't they should be banned from buying anything that uses fuel such as gasoline, kersoene or diesel.

What started as an effort many years ago to child-proof gas cans turned into an adult-proofing model for millions of Americans who feel that these cans are virtually impossible to use. The first step (BETTER VENTING): The Trump EPA clarified to manufacturers last summer that gas cans can have self-closing vents that restore smoother fuel flow. The next, bigger step (NOZZLE DESIGN): To have the Consumer Product Safety Commission fix the ABSURDLY designed nozzle, Congress will need to pass legislation to change federal law. It shouldn’t take 3 hands and 5 minutes to pour gas out of a gas can!

Change in the gardening arrangement this year. Kathy decided to get a new in ground box on sale at Odd Lots. Stainless steel. I’m repurposing her old ones. I can’t help myself I love planting things and watching things grow. It’s magic to me.
