Power is currently out at the County Office Building and many other locations in and around downtown Joliet. The public is advised to call first before visiting any offices to conduct county business. We will provide updates as they occur throughout the day.

Today we celebrate President Abraham Lincoln's Birthday and honor his enduring legacy. The positive impact of his leadership can still be found throughout the nation, but especially here in the Land of Lincoln and Will County.

Please note: Will County offices are CLOSED on Thursday, February 12 in observance of Abraham Lincoln's Birthday, which is an official holiday for both Will County and the State of Illinois.

@Metra briefed local leaders on plans to increase Rock Island Line service, creating expanded regional access. County Executive Bertino-Tarrant hosted the conversation with local elected and business leaders on how increased transit could fuel economic development.

We're working with local partners to host a Mobile Market Distribution in Crete! The Market will provide milk, eggs, fresh produce, meat, and non-perishable items. The drive-up event is open to all! Food will be distributed while supplies last.

County Executive Office staff came together to spread holiday cheer and sing carols to residents at Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County. Thank you for volunteering!

Will County Sheriff Undersheriff Brian Conser was recognized yesterday by the Will County Board, Speaker Joe VanDuyne, and County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant ahead of his retirement after a 29-year career with the department. Congratulations to Undersheriff Conser!

@ILTreasurer will be holding an I-CASH event at the Will County Office Building tomorrow, December 16, to help Will County residents check if they are owed unclaimed property. I-CASH events help residents locate and reclaim unclaimed property that is held by the State.

An amazing holiday celebration at the DuPage Township Levy Center Senior Christmas Party! Happy to be spreading the cheer with @StateRepManley, @DuPageTownship officials, and other local leaders.

The Cornerstone Services team will be returning to the County Office Building (302 N. Chicago St., Joliet) tomorrow to sell handmade holiday artwork and decor items. All items are made by a member of the Cornerstone community and a portion of proceeds go back to the artist.
