Brexit and furlough are bearing heavy on our industry. 970 000 europeens have left London ,the skill of Europe is leaving UK or has stoped coming .There is a real staff shortage in most businesses .But our own industry could also bear some responsability @UKHofficial

i was meant to go to this wine tasting with @XavierRousset ,former @lemanoir chef sommelier .now owner of a number of wine bars and restaurants .I tasted some fabulous wines .my favourite organic wine Eloise 2007. Nicole @LeCheneBleu , the wine maker , found her passion at 40🙂

In short term operators focused on fast selling wines/drinks people will buy time & again - sparkling/rose/ familiar/ rather than weird & wonderful (@Pubhobbit @XavierRousset).Overall view it's been a great start to recovery, but need to be "left alone" to get on with bounce back

I believe this is possible and it would make sense as you can spend all day in meeting rooms for business but can't go with the same people for a bite to eat!!! Seems like the virus is waiting for you to enter a restaurant or bar to catch you...crazy!
