PGMN Anchor CJ Hirro is disputing a key detail in the affidavit of alleged Sara Duterte bagman Ramil Madriaga, who testified before the House Justice Committee on April 14 that he withdrew ₱100 million in cash from a bank inside a mall in Lubao, Pampanga on three separate occasions for delivery to Malacañang. Hirro, who was born and raised in Lubao, pushed back on the claim, saying no such mall exists in the municipality, much less one large enough to house a bank.
In a Facebook post, she cited her firsthand knowledge of the town’s layout, pointing instead to existing establishments such as Puregold, Sta. Cruz Market, Alfamart, O Save, and small local stores, none of which include a bank inside a mall setting as described in the testimony. Hirro, who won the Miss Lubao pageant in 2004, underscored her familiarity with the area, with fellow Lubao residents echoing her statement in the comments and reinforcing doubts over the accuracy of the claim presented during the hearing.
