I think the issue is that they were upset someone with less dance experience and training was a natural and a quick learner. Manon only had 1 year of training before Dream Academy started and caught up quick, how is that lazy? Yall are just quick to downplay her for no reason

Nobody can honestly look at her performing the Debut dance break, for example, and say she doesn't have the talent needed. Even without years of training she keeps up

It shows she can stand on her own and be recognized and have star power even outside of a group. But mixing that with a group expands that reach even further which is what they did.

Actual kpop is exactly like this. So many idols get scouted before even becoming trainees because they have the look or have charisma. That's just the way the kpop industry has always been. Not everyone has to seek out an audition.

People only say Manon can’t sing because she don’t be hootin and hollering on stage. She’s an alto. Not a Mezzo or Soprano. Her voice is what brings everything together.
