I know Iran is a prolific sponsor of partisans in the region and that they're responsible for hundreds of American servicemen deaths. I nevertheless believe the pound of flesh has been extracted by the severe reduction of their proxies in the Gazacaust, removal of Assad, degradation of Hezbollah, neutralization of most Iraqi Shia militias, as well as the decapitation of their leadership (starting with Soleimani) and severe degradation of their infrastructure. This is in addition to thousands of Iranian deaths (including hundreds of schoolgirls at the hands of an Anthropic chatbot). The only Iranian state act that might warrant additional reprisals at this time is their promotion of low-quality "dissident" content online.

I don't see the problem here - regional partners help rebuild Iranian infrastructure and an end to the sanctions after they agreed to serious restrictions on their nuclear program (amongst other things). Why would we continue to sanction them if they've agreed to play ball? Just spiteful at that point - bad diplomacy. Iran will no longer be a regional menace!

Bloomberg has reportedly just released the 14 point deal between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic. If points 6 and 7 are true, this is insanely sad. If these aren’t true, I hope the admin gets in front of this immediately.

When india achieved independence they deported all of the british that were living there at the time. Some of them had 300 years of history in the country, had been born in india, had never seen the shores of england. Didnt matter. They still had to go home. Theres a lesson here.
