I do most of the level design and layouts on paper and then build the tileset on top of them

@_Dapper_Duck_ I absolutely love balance and tilting games like this, using that infamous zelda shrine mechanic as a whole game concept combined with those cute dioramas is brilliant

I'm sorry guys but I just gotta share. It is SO FKIN COOL to see my game trailer hosted on IGN's website, man. I grew up obsessed with game pubs like IGN and Gamespot. Watched G4 TV all day every day. They were my ride or die sources for all things video games! So to have something of my very own up there for the world to see, even if only a few eyes come across it, is still such a surreal experience. I've worked on a ton of games during my career as a developer, but this is the first thing that is really, truly mine (which is terrifying in and of itself!) And it's this moment that makes me feel like this indie dev thing might just be real.

@turtlefren1 Yep! We're using the Universal Render Pipeline and a few custom shaders. About 50% of what you see here was actually made by hand IRL and then digitized.
