AND THE PLAYTEST IS LIVE! If you're looking for a game that's got... - Scary noises in the dark - Something following you from room to room, staying *just* out of sight - A dollop of religious trauma ...then look no further! The public playtest for my upcoming horror game, Flick, has finally kicked off! It's a super short demo (~10-15 minutes-ish) and is a showcase of the kind of quiet, dreadful horror that I've come to love over the course of making this. To celebrate, I made a new trailer!

Attention Streamers and Content Creators! Please feel free to stream and post footage of your playthrough of the Flick playtest wherever you like! There is no embargo! The playtest is fully public and I love watching folks' reactions (as well as live spotting the bugs I missed). So far, I've pumped out 8 patches in the last day and a half and have knocked out as many bugs as I've seen (as well as added some extra spooky features!) so the game should be far more stable than it was at this time yesterday. Thanks to everyone who's played the game and given feedback! Everything you've sent has been invaluable towards smoothing out the admittedly rougher edges of the initial drop. And a special shout out to @TheLonePCGamer for this great clip! This guy is a puzzle-solving savant!

I'm shook. Flick's playtest hasn't been out more than half a day and it's already been streamed by one of my favorite content creators @KingWoolz!! Granted, he managed to snag my earliest build which was FULL TO THE BRIM of bugs (now fixed thanks to ALL OF YOU who have reached out and helped square away the big game breakers). But hey - that's what a playtest is for! Still, it's such an awesome feeling to see so many of you respond so positively to this little game I ductaped together. It really feels like a community effort with this one. Yall are the best!

@ColorTheBooks Yes! :) enhanced statues by the entities, but this is a question to be answered later...plus, some "gamey" mandatory features for the fun! not everything needs a realistic explanation in a non realistic world like this of Asthenia! :) (plus is not earth) 😅

⚠️ Demo tip of the day: (what, you thought I was done already??) You do not break those statues-the tutorials mention that you must lure the enemies onto those. ❗️❌+Bonus tip: There are secret areas to one-hit kill enemies, find those and follow the tips. This is why:

@ColorTheBooks @KingWoolz Dang! He's the scary game goat! Congrats! I'm always scared to stream playtests because a lot of then aren't ready and I'm not trying to step on toes especially when I get access to something lol. But if your saying we can stream it?!
