Today I learned why I don’t do stupid things like burping for perverts.
Some guy gave me 110 USD just to burp in a call, and I found it funny cause it was easy money to help me with the new apartment I moved into
Now my PayPal has 2 disputes to fully refund him, I’m rlly upset. That money was for food, and I even spent a little to get art for future merch :(
I learned my lesson though, PayPal will be in the negatives for a tiny bit now :/
@_Diplopia_@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder but keep in mind there are other possible reasons why the parents may be annoyed by this: being upset that their kid is spending so much on deliveries (the costs pile FAST), not wanting strangers at their house late at night, just to name a few possible answers
@spiderghostss@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder Don't get me wrong I've a hell of a sweet tooth. I go to cafes and get a flat white, baked treat and read like 3x a week. I just don't get how they could even consume so many. And their parents seem to have an issue with it, which makes me think they are worried about ops habits
@spiderghostss@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder Yeah fair enough, but like what's a reasonable time frame to even eat that many then? Like 12 a day? That's still your full calorie intake from donuts which is mad and that's lowballing the cals on it. It's a ridiculous amount of donuts
@spiderghostss@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder To be clear the way you are speaking makes it seem like a bad thing if they were to eat that many without preserving them. Which might be hard when hiding it from their parents
@_Diplopia_@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder why is your first assumption that this guy is just gonna eat 24 goddamn donuts instead of just preserving them like a normal person
@Coretrayn@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder You can agree or disagree, I'm very lib about letting people do as they wish but I think it's reasonable to then also acknowledge the harm done
@Coretrayn@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder The central issue of this is someone trying and failing to hide their unhealthy eating habits from their parents and getting caught
@Wipheroo@ieatmenmaneater@RealPostFolder Reread the post. They are hiding them from their parents. The whole point is they are ordering 24 in the middle of the night to eat, and their parents found out and threw them out while giving out about the unhealthy eating habits. They are upset they were caught
@rosegoldleaves@RealPostFolder They care deeply about their child and their health and honesty I worry more what will happen when/if they move out and don't have someone stopping them from gorging and there to "lecture" them
@PNH471945@RealPostFolder That's for the round glazed ones. Hershey’s Chocolate Cake Overload is 500. It's why I said it was a lowball, that's the minimum
@_Diplopia_@RealPostFolder I’m actually surprised, that seems low.
Obviously completely empty calories, but <200 per is not that bad imo. 240g of sugar is fucking eyewatering tho, I hate overly sweet stuff like that
@Coretrayn@GarrickkTheGre@RealPostFolder The fact that they are so unhealthy and full of preservatives that they might last that long is not helping. At least traditional baked goods are less full of crap even if they are full of sugar and butter
