@dizziedee If they removed enemy level scaling, and gave every party member every combat option (so I dont have Zell with draw and Quistis with item, but then zell cant use item and quistis cant draw), then I would be inclined to play it. The lack of full combat options piss me off

In my opinion not all of the Final Fantasy games need a remake, but Final Fantasy VIII deserves a remake.
Not just upgraded graphics, but a chance to fully explore the Sorceress Wars, expand the world, and maybe embrace the Rinoa = Ultimecia theory. (And more triple triad)

Final Fantasy died when Sakaguchi left Square in 2003. We are just communing with a zombie version of the franchise and are in deep denial. The only FF's that matter are remakes or sequels of HIS titles.

It’s crazy to me that McDonald’s was fast food for like 50 years without an issue, and now 99% of the time they have you pull around and park to wait ten mins for your food.
What happened? Automation is better and the employees got slower. All while getting paid more. Makes no sense.

Whenever u cancel a subscription and then they offer you that last-ditch 50% off BS in an attempt to keep you on board, I’m always reminded that the entire pricing model for subscriptions is dictated by thin-fucking air, and they can change it on a whim when it conveniences them.
