Do you believe our kids deserve better education? Join us March 10 at the Royal Canadian Military Institute. The evening will include two panel discussions: one on public system reform, and the second on increasing educational pluralism and competition. luma.com/kz9fv1yk

If you want to get a glimpse at what some of those voices are saying, I’d encourage you to sign up for @_ProjectOntario’s event next week, which will explore reform of our state system of education. Link below.

This is excellent news, and sorely needed. Ontario’s education system is in serious need of reform and the is a great first step. Real reform requires listening to the voices of parents, education associations, and others who have a stake in the next generation of Ontarians.

There's a lot going wrong in Ontario. But nothing worse than compromising the quality of education for our kids. If we don't solve this, our problems will remain. If you care about education reform in Ontario, check out the event we're hosting next week for @_ProjectOntario

Come hear Kelden and others talk about education reform in Ontario on March 10th with @_ProjectOntario
Kelden Formosa@KeldenFormosa

Earlier this month, a plan to defund tens of thousands of Alberta students in independent schools failed to move forward -- and rightly so. In today’s @TheHubCanada, I explain how Alberta’s pluralist, publicly funded education system works, why it performs so well, and what other provinces can learn. thehub.ca/2026/02/25/why…

In a few weeks, I’ll join a @_ProjectOntario panel in Toronto to discuss the classical charter school in Alberta where I teach, sharing how a content-rich curriculum, clear expectations, and educational pluralism are working here, and what Ontario might learn. Details below ⬇️

If you’re concerned about Ontario education’s focus on promoting an ideology that dehumanizes children by separating them according to race or other factors, please join us at @_ProjectOntario’s event on March 10 in Toronto. Registration link below.

1/ The following poster was hung in the main hall of Henry Street Secondary School in Durham Region @DDSBSchools @PaulCalandra “Racism does not go back and forth, one day benefiting Whites and another day benefiting Peoples of Colour.” “Racism is always against the marginalized group.” A girl sits on a pile of academic books, one of which says “SAT Prep.” A speech bubble pointing to a boy says “She only got in because she’s black.”

Serious question: is anyone fully satisfied with the state of education in Ontario? What would more experimentation, innovation and choice look like in practice? On March 10th I’ll be speaking on a panel (along with @KeldenFormosa, @paigemacp & others) about the future of education in Ontario hosted by @_ProjectOntario. If you’re curious about education, different perspectives and practical reform, join us for an evening of thoughtful conversation! Link below.

The fine folks at @_ProjectOntario will be hosting an event in March to talk about ways to solve this! There are solutions (hint: $$ alone isn’t going to solve this) They take work and vision, but it’s not impossible. Stay tuned!

Math scores are declining across Canada, despite higher-than-average spending. The evidence is clear: how we teach math matters. Read the full report and learn more here: cdhowe.org/publication/ge…

Ontario is bleeding jobs, families can't afford homes, businesses are shutting down, and our government is bloated. If I were Premier in 2026, here's what I'd actually DO to fix it. No more excuses, no more half-measures. Buckle up. 🧵 1/12

Alberta stood up. Saskatchewan drew the line. Yukon’s joined the fight. Canada’s West and North aren’t shy about defending hunters, farmers, and sport shooters from Ottawa's latest gun grab. 👏 But it’s got us searching, page after page, just like those old Where’s Waldo books… Where’s Doug Ford? Ontario’s millions of safe, responsible gun owners are still waiting for leadership. Doug, are you hiding with the rest of the crowd, or are you ready to stand up and be counted? See if you can spot Doug Ford in the image! And if you find him, let him know: Ontario firearms owners want you to follow suit with Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the Yukon, and stand up against Ottawa’s gun grab. #WheresDoug #CSSA #StandUpOntario #CSSA

Very disappointing @PaulCalandra. There’s no reason that parents shouldn’t be allowed to take their kids out of failing public schools and send them to Charter schools. Why does every Ontario education minister seem to put teacher’s unions’ demands over parents’ and kids’ needs?

Project Ontario will be hosting an event on Education reform in the new year. Whatever we’re doing, it’s not working. And no advisory committee will solve this. @_ProjectOntario @BrianDijkema @GinnyRothTO

#BREAKING - EQAO test results show half of Grade 6 students and 42 per cent of Grade 9 students are not meeting the provincial standard in math, through reading and writing results were strong. The Education Minister says he’s appointing an advisory body to review it.
