In my opinion MS starts for this team. He is still an elite pace basher. I hope he stops this humble gimmick and joins the 12 but he wont. I learnt that MS wont play this season and i tweeted about it and was making 12s without him but i was abused and bashed for it lolz.

Listening to Hussey and the big Heads of CSK — it's very evident that CSK sees Kartik as a long term project. Kartik will be backed at number 4 in the upcoming games too, until or unless the situation is something that demands something different at that given moment. His SR is an issue but can't neglect that this same 20 Y old guy with a cold head finished 2 games which most of the guys of his age group won't be able to do because of their untimely aggression.

From now, every match is important, and this slow batting can cost us crucial games. He has the ability, but he plays too many dot balls and lacks attacking intent consistently. Either give him a clear attacking role or try options like Prashant Veer/Sarfaraz Khan. Otherwise, unnecessary trolling will fall on the youngster because of management decisions.

@_deathmaker_ @Jvm_Manoj nope they are kohli and kl Rahul two most consistent batters in ipl last decade until 2023 and since 2023 the aggressive intent merchant came and we have moved on from them but karthik is a proper 6 hitter and just needs some time I'd give him a chance with veer this season.
