@_tdown6 @MeatEaterTV OK. Your hearing aid's are only effective for direction if the mic's are pointed in the direction the noise is coming from. Since most have the Mic's behind the ear, you're directional hearing is behind you.

@MikeCon83749392 @MeatEaterTV Let’s go with unique. All they do is amplify the sound. I don’t understand why they would affect directional awareness. I’ve had hearing aids for 15 years and never experienced it. Had both in the ear and over the ear styles. Have game ear muffs and no problem there either.

Yea they were all the rage in the 50, 60's, 70's and 80's. Might add I'm not asking the government to do a damn thing. It was the government's doing to start out with, just want them to quit. Having worn hearing aids for a couple of decades there's one thing I've learned. The moment you put something in your ear to enhance hearing, you lose your directional hearing. That's kind of important, especially while hunting.

@MikeCon83749392 @MeatEaterTV They have these devices now grandpa. You put them in your ear and they actually amplify the sounds but suppress the gunshot noise. You can get them to insert in your ear or muffs. They’ve been available for quite a while now. Maybe you can get the government to buy em for you.

Nobody is asking the government to limit anything, we just want to be able to do it ourselves. You can turn down the volume on your stereo or wear ear plugs at noisy events. Hunting is different, we need to hear everything. Hunting quail or dove hear in West TX with ear plugs in is a great way to get your azz snake bit. In other places it's a great way to get your azz chewed up by Mountain Lion or Bear.

On the contrary with a record like 8-5 or better I think that gives huge momentum going into 2027 plus the potential top 10 recruiting class. 2026 will be the springboard to greatness or failure for Rhule as hc at Nebraska.
