There should be an X-men comic where Storm fights Cyclops for the leadership of the team, but get this, she is powerless at the time!

@GailSimone I found X-Men in the 90s. My “soul” Xman has changed several times since then & I’m grateful the massive character list is nuanced enough that there has always been someone to make me feel seen no matter who I am in my story - awkward kid, frustrated young adult, anxious mom ❤️

What I have learned is that every X-Men reader has at least one character that somehow speaks to them directly. It’s a bit intimidating for the writers, that one character means so much to someone. But now, I think it’s lovely. Wolverine or Beak, the X-Men see you.

Cap Marvel was the last movie I saw before my son was born. We were so excited to see #TheMarvels together- went to the theater opening week & had the best time. Ms Marvel is a fav of his (thanks Spidey & Friends) & we both cheered for the fights, dance, cats & x-men. We loved it

Yesterday at Knott’s, we were in a shop and there was a father and a son (the son was maybe 8? 9?) and they were having a great time picking out a shirt for him. The dad held up a WWI flying ace shirt and said “Curse you Red Baron.’ Kid asked who the Red Baron is. 1/

@GailSimone I’ve read so many excellent collections thanks to @nypl, so I’ll pick based on personal history: Kingdom Come was the first one I ever saw or read & it blew my young mind Crisis on Infinite Earths bc I love x-overs & George Perez Astonishing X-Men - 1st omnibus I ever bought

I was asked (for an article in a major magazine) what my 3 favorite graphic novel/collected editions were. It proved a thousand times harder to choose than I thought. My QUESTION OF THE DAY is: What answer would you give to that same question above?" Any comics in book form.

@WarwickADavis @DisneyPlus @WaltDisneyCo I loved Willow the Series. It was super cool. Especially the episode with the endless sea. Disney Plus removed that and another series which was the reason my family signed up for it in the first place. Huge bummer.

I meet lovely people on a daily basis who are fans of #Willow, who are the reason the @DisneyPlus Series was made. Please tell me @WaltDisneyCo, what do I say to these subscribers when they ask why they can’t watch the series any more? #embarrassing
